等待3年後重返2/大聯盟' 109653大聯盟，2/釀酒人' 89889釀酒人隊左投2/王維中' 89903王維中本季被設定為「一人左」，專面對左打，共出賽8場，投了1.1局失2分，王維中認為自己已能習慣這樣的安排，「在球隊有角色也不錯。」

王維中本季在7月獲得短暫升上大聯盟的機會，但只出賽1場面對1個人次後被下放，直到大聯盟9月擴編才重新回到大聯盟，結束球季後，他已返回台灣，預計在明、後兩天的「MLB棒球樂園」活動與球迷互動。

本季被設定為專門面對左打的角色，王維中說：「算是習慣了吧，感覺在場上每天腎上腺素都在飆高，熱身都滿快的。」他也透露，同一場比賽中最多熱身3次，「有時候才在熱身，教練就問我可以面對一名打者嗎（左打），我也只能說好，就盡我最快的方式熱好。」

王維中在2013年底於「規則五選秀」被釀酒人隊挑走，隔年整季待在大聯盟，該季出賽14場，共投17.1局被敲6轟，失23分，防禦率10.90。相隔3年後重大聯盟則被設定為「一人左」，王維中說：「在球隊中有角色其實也滿不錯的，不會像2014年都是投大比分差的比賽。」

本季王維中出賽8場被敲5支安打，其中包括ㄧ發陽春全壘打，他也坦言，因大聯盟的用球和小聯盟不同，自己還有點握不太習慣，「幾顆失投球都是因為球太滑了。」因此，今年他不太投曲球，多以變化幅度較小的球路為主，並希望利用季末練好變速球，讓自己增加球路迎接新球季。

若想爭取站穩大聯盟機會，王維中認為，自己都有很多地方需要加強，「不管哪一方面，都要一直朝最好的邁進。」
