北捷「禁食區」放寬！32站點非付費通道區開放飲食
台北捷運的整潔可說大部分歸功於禁止飲食的規定，但是過去捷運站內通道等「未付費區」無法飲食的規定，受到許多民眾的挑戰，而北捷也從善如流，宣布之後包含忠孝新生、南港、後山埤等站，將會開放通道間飲食，但是在剪票口或是月台等地區依舊是嚴禁飲食。
台北捷運公司宣布，捷運站內屬於非付費區的通道，將會陸續開放可以吃東西、喝飲料，原本畫在地上「進入本區，禁止飲食」的黃線也會陸續註銷，相關工程已經從9月29日開始實施，包含國父紀念館、忠孝新生、市政府等共32個站點，通道區都開放飲食。
但是台北捷運公司也強調，雖然通道飲食解禁了，但是在剪票口、月台或是車廂內仍屬於禁止飲食的區域，若違反將依照《大眾捷運法》處新台幣1500元到7500元的罰鍰，相關規定沒有放寬，民眾如果害怕自己違規，可以多多注意在地上標記的黃線，以免受到罰則。
